World Relief Durham presents the “Run for Refugees” 5k to support refugees who have resettled in Durham.
When: October 26, 2024
Where: Duke University’s East Campus @ the corner of W Main St. & N Buchanan Blvd
Why: Millions of persecuted refugees run to find safety and a new beginning. Join us in Run for Refugees to help ensure they are cared for and welcomed when their refugee journey ends here in the Triangle and they begin anew!
Parking: Free Street Parking and Paid Parking
- Day of Sign-up: 8:30am
- Regular Sign-In: 9:00am
- Rally: 9:45 am
- Race Starts: 10:00am
- Bring Your Own Picnic: 11:15am
Price:
- $35 – includes a T-shirt, race admission & timing, post-race snack and drink (deadline to guarantee your shirt is October 1st, 2024)
- $40 – Same day registration (T-shirts on a first come first serve basis*)
- $20 – Child admission includes a T-shirt, race admission & timing, post-race snack and drink (deadline to guarantee your shirt is October 1st, 2024). See registration tent for children joining, but not under admission.
